Getting Started
An evaluation provides the family and therapist with a thorough and concise picture of your child’s individual abilities and needs. It is the first step in designing a treatment plan and goals specific to your child.
Children are able to put their best foot forward when they feel comfortable and secure. We take time and effort to ensure your child feels successful and supported throughout the evaluation process.
Evaluations may include:
Clinical observations
by the playSense team
Parent, Professional
and child interview
(when appropriate)
Interpretation of test scores
including clinically significant patterns
Standardized tests
(when appropriate)
Report reviews
when added professional testing is present
Detailed written report
including recommendations and suggested goals
Parent discussion
1:1 in-depth conversation about your child’s evaluation results and recommended next steps
